What is LARP?
Live Action Roleplay (LARP) is a type of roleplay game where players physically embody their characters by wearing a costume and acting as the character in specific situations. At its heart larp is about working collaboratively to tell a story.
What do IC and OC mean?
IC is an abbreviation of 'In Character' meaning anything that takes place in the game world, that a character may be aware of.
OC is an abbreviation of 'Out of Character' meaning anything that happens outside the game world or time, that characters would have no way of perceiving.
For example, a character may give an IC speech then do an OC charm roll to see how persuasive the speech was.
What is the difference between a player and a character?
A character is an individual within the game world while a player is the real world person who portrays them.
How do I join an event?
If you'd like to join one of our events please secure a player spot by purchasing one here with a £50 non-refundable deposit. You will then receive character preference and player needs forms to complete so we can ensure you get the most out of the event.
What is character creation?
Character creation allows you to design and personalize your unique character for the game. After your character region and role have been cast, our team will work with you to customise your character. You will assign skill points and work with us to build a character background and goals.
Are there age restrictions?
All our events are currently adult only. Due to the nature of our events we cannot accept participants under the age of 18 years even if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What should I bring?
You will need IC appropriate costume ideally fitting the key costume item and general shape for your region as described in the required kit section, along with the correct phys-reps for any origin chosen. You will also need anything you'd need for an overnight stay in a hotel.

All food (including snacks) and non-alcoholic drinks are provided but you may want some form of payment if you would like alcoholic drinks.
Do I have to have an origin other than human?
No, your character can be one of the many with a pure human origin however the other options are available for those who would like to use them to enhance their roleplay experience. If choosing to have one of the additional origins the character must clearly display the required phys-reps.
What does my ticket include?
All player tickets include 2 nights accommodation in a luxurious hotel, 2 full English breakfasts, 2 buffet lunches and 2 3 course dinners. On top of that you get a tailored character in story driven game, OC workshops to support memorable roleplay moments. Oh and drinks and snacks to keep you going through it all!
